Give AND Get - the RTS Annual Appeal & YPS Social!

As you may already know, in November, Rebuilding Together Seattle started our Annual Appeal, to raise funds for costs associated with our home repair program. This year, our goal is to raise $17,000. We have already reached $6,215.00 in just one month, with the help of 39 donors, including former board members, volunteers, and YPS members.

This year, RTS is asking friends of our organization to consider participating in the Annual Appeal. Every dollar donated by Young Professionals Society (YPS) members will go toward exclusive funds for YPS, including service project materials, meetings food, event expenses, and awards. Every dollar donated by friends of the Youth Board will go toward exclusive YB funds.

Our Holiday Social (Hosted by YPS) is just around the corner: Thursday, December 17th at the George & Dragon Pub. All event attendees who participate in the annual appeal by making a donation of $15.00 or more to Rebuilding Together Seattle (before or on the 17th) will be awarded with a free drink ticket at the social (if you can’t make it to the social we’ll treat you at the next one!) Individuals who donate $30.00or more will be awarded with TWO free drink tickets.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Please know that every donation makes a difference, large or small. If you prefer writing a check, donations can be mailed to: 811 Harrison St, Seattle, 98109.

Sincerely,

The RTS Board & Staff

Rebuilding Together Seattle

RTS provides donated repair services for homeowners in need so they can continue to live independently in warmth and safety.

How Do We Do It?All work is done by volunteers at no cost to the homeowner. Corporations, individuals and other groups sponsor or donate funds or materials to cover project and operational costs.

Members of RTS and YPS are highly motivated, engrained in the community, love to give back, and yet still have way too much fun.

Through this blog, you can find information regarding general RTS business, Young Professionals Society events and news, as well as Youth Board events and news.
