On Spring Rebuilding Day 2013, volunteers from Emmanuel Episcopal Church helped Ron, Linda, and their granddaughter living in Columbia City. Project Leaders chose Matt Sims as the standout RTS Energizer!
About Matt:
"On Saturday, Emmanuel parishioner and recent
WSU grad, Matt was everywhere helping with everything: Bringing the
topsoil, helping get it in the yard, hauling debris out of the property AND
hauling it away (at least two trips!). On Sunday Matt returned, this time
with his dad as a new recruit, and helped How finish the project (oh, and
of course, there was one more trip to the dump :- ). His dad says 'We are at our best when helping others' an adage Matt certainly
