RTS Board & Staff Rebuilding Day is THIS Saturday!

RTS Board Members Val Gorder (L) and Brooke Sullivan (R)

Saturday, June 23rd, marks the very first
RTS Board and Staff Rebuilding Day!

At last year's Beer and Wine Tasting Event (Sept 30, 2011), we introduced this new project as a special "Live Auction" item, where the highest bidder would serve as the Sponsor of the Board and Staff Rebuilding Day.  At the end of the fiscal year, the Board of Directors, along with the RTS Staff, would roll up their sleeves to help out a homeowner in need!

On Saturday, approximately 20 volunteers (between the RTS board, staff, and their family members) we will be helping an elderly homeowner named Phyllis.  Phyllis is 85 years old, a widow of a veteran, and lives with her daughter, Cynthia, in Tukwila. Volunteers will be working to solve several electrical issues in the home, installing grab bars in the bathroom, repairing the fence as a security improvement, updating weather stripping, completing yard work, tearing down an old shed, and doing general organizing and clutter removal in the home.

This year's sponsor of the RTS Board and Staff Rebuilding Day is the Herche Family!
Thank you, Mary and Tom, for making this special event possible.
