"This award is given to the volunteer on each project that goes
above and beyond the call of duty to make the project a success. This
year’s winner is NICK QUESTAD! Nick not only “raised his hand” to help
with the more skilled projects ahead of the big day, he took on the small
bathroom with Simon and worked all day (and nearly all night) on it, overcoming
one challenge after the next. He was committed to staying until the job
was done and so he could leave the residents with a functioning bathroom.
This required multiple late-night dashes to Home Depot, as nearly every part on
the sink and toilet had to be replaced to prevent leaks. He was on site
until after 9:00 pm on Saturday getting the bathroom back “on line”. In
spite of set back after set back, Nick remained calm, cool and collected
throughout the day and into the evening. It’s great to have volunteers
like Nick on board and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this
award! Congratulations, Nick!" (written by Arnie Mondloch, RTS Board President)
